Who is The People’s Place?

The People’s Place is a vintage clothing store located in Old Town Manassas, Virginia. The store initially began in the basement of vintage-wear enthusiast, entrepreneur, and my long time friend, Joe Antayhua. The store gained rapid popularity and grew a sort of cult following on and offline, in a community that was previously deprived of unique vintage clothing and streetwear.

I was brought in by Joe as a graphic and merchandise designer to create the designs for The People’s Place’s merchandise and his personal clothing line. It’s always a pleasure to work with him because there is a real dialogue between the owner and the artist. Whenever he has an idea, we get together to brainstorm and then BOOM! we turn it into a reality.
